Jail for babysitter who molested boys

A BABYSITTER found guilty of molesting two young boys has been jailed for eight years.
Former delivery driver Martin Donoghue offered one lad alcohol and pornography before doing inappropriate acts and sexually abusing him, Bristol Crown Court heard.
He then moved on to a second, younger boy and began to similarly “groom” him.
Donoghue, 35, of Almond Way, Downend, denied abusing one teenaged lad and the other lad when he was aged around eight. Neither can be named for legal reasons.
A jury convicted him of six charges of indecent assault on a male and three charges of indecency with a child.
Judge Michael Longman told him he would serve half the sentence in prison, and on his release would be disqualified from working with children.
A former workmate of Donoghue told the Evening Post: “It was a very good sentence but a shame he will only serve half for what he’s done. When I worked with him he was very strong-minded and a bit of a bully. He could be very intimidating in the way he talked to you.
“He was engaged to be married until all this kicked off. He told his fiancee and she turned round and dropped him.”
Judge Longman summed up how Donoghue encouraged the older lad to visit his home, where he sexually abused him over the course of two years.
He said: “After you finished with him you turned your attention to (the other boy). You began to groom him and you befriended him

Of course, every young person with a credit card also needs to know that by paying the monthly balance when it is due will bring most any card to 0% interest ? on a continual basis.
Balance Transfers
Most college credit card companies assume that this is the first card that students have ever owned and will not offer a balance transfer option. While there are a few card issuers that offer this card feature, a balance transfer is an undoubtedly rare feature in a college credit card. If they do allow it, then it still would only apply for the 6-month introductory offer period.
Higher Interest
The credit cards for college students do normally have a higher interest rate than your general cards ? about 16.99% up to 18.99% and beyond. So if the compound interest effect is demonstrated and emphasized to your student, it may help them to realize that they need to be fiscally responsible – or they will pay a steep price. Also, you need to know that it is more than likely that the introductory offer may be forfeited by just a single late payment.
Build Their Credit Rating
Many of the advertisements for college student credit cards emphasize that this is a good way for your student to build their credit.

That’s plenty of time for getting things done. As soon as the show broke for commercial, I’d jump from my chair and dash to wherever I’d left off. I’d bring in laundry and fold it while I watched. I’d iron in front of the TV, I’d bring in piles of miscellaneous debris from other rooms and sort it into piles for where it belonged, then on the next commercial I’d go put things away. I’d move from one room to the next, carrying things that belonged there with me, and returning with things that did not. Eventually the house was clean, and hadn’t missed my programs. If you enjoy TV, consider how much time there is available during the commercials and start using it. Whether for exercise or cleaning, or anything else you need to get done: responding to correspondence, studying, paying bills, grooming the cat – there are lots of little chores we need to do, no reason we can’t carry them into our TV room and get them done.
